About Halui Angus FCCT
I bring scientific discipline, curriculum depth and senior leadership experience to the difficult space between strategy and what actually happens.
I began in science. That matters. Science taught me to test assumptions, look for patterns and distinguish evidence from reassurance.
Curriculum and Quality of Education became the largest thread through my leadership career. I have led science, teaching, curriculum improvement, sixth form, professional development, assessment and quality assurance. I have also worked across safeguarding, SEND, alternative provision, behaviour, attendance, finance, governance and organisational improvement.
The settings changed. The central question did not: how do leaders know that an intention has become reliable practice?
Teacher of Science, Head of Science, STEM leadership, curriculum improvement, assessment, teaching quality and professional development.
Assistant Headteacher, Vice Principal, Deputy Headteacher-equivalent, Acting Head of School and Headteacher leadership across complex settings.
Experience across different phases and forms of provision. This gives me a wider view of curriculum, inclusion, safeguarding and organisational capacity.
Strategic education advice, school improvement, quality assurance, facilitation, product challenge, partnership development and governance.
During my Professional Sabbatical, I published Beyond Readiness, developed Implementation Intelligence™, built new strategic tools and expanded my contribution across governance, partnerships and sector discussion.
The Excellence Classroom. Helping education leaders turn strategy into defensible implementation.
Beyond Readiness: A Practical School Improvement Playbook.
SEN Foundation. Bringing strategic leadership, governance, SEND, inclusion and organisational development experience.
